Hello Chessa. 

Chessa is one half of a company called Twenty One Tonnes. They make thoughtfully crafted interior pieces fusing design with traditional craft. Lights & light shades, baskets & textiles are produced in collaboration with artisan partners around the world using indigenous materials collected in their communities. 

Chessa lives in East Vancouver along with her partner Stephen, an environmental consultant, their two kids & sweet dog. Their cozy, 2 floor, dark green bungalow is quietly tucked off a busy street in the Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood. 

The interior space is tastefully decorated with decor from Twenty One Tonnes mixed with items found locally & artifacts from her travels. When working, Chessa escapes to a home office downstairs filled with beautiful woven treasures. The outdoor area is equally as charming as it is inside. A serene backyard oasis welcomes gatherings of family & friends away from the busyness of traffic passing by.
